By accessing or using Protective.Design ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.

Use of Service

You may use our Service to:

  • Complete free security assessments for your property
  • Receive assessment reports and vendor referrals
  • Access information about CPTED and security best practices

You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the Service.

Assessment Reports

Our assessment reports are provided for informational purposes only. They are based on the information you provide and are not a substitute for professional security consultation. We make no warranties or representations about the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of the assessment results.

Vendor Referrals

We provide referrals to vendors based on your assessment results and location. However:

  • We do not endorse or guarantee the services of any vendor
  • You are responsible for vetting and selecting vendors
  • Any agreements or transactions with vendors are between you and the vendor
  • We are not responsible for the quality, pricing, or outcomes of vendor services

Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Protective.Design and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

User Content

By submitting information through our Service, you grant us a license to use, reproduce, and distribute that information for the purpose of providing the Service, including generating reports and facilitating vendor referrals.

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PROTECTIVE.DESIGN SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Protective.Design and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising out of your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect.
